Project Settings
Project Settings offer configuration of global parameters that affect drawing behavior, units, visual styles, and interaction rules. Accessible from the main menu, this panel includes control over measurement units (e.g., feet, meters), snapping intervals, camera behavior, and default material presets. It also includes toggles for enabling or disabling landscape textures, grid overlays, background environment, and object outlines.
Snapping settings help maintain alignment and spacing accuracy during wall or object placement, especially when precision is critical for space planning. Units of measurement define how all distances and areas are interpreted and displayed throughout the application. Changing these units retroactively updates the project visuals and measurement labels but does not alter the geometry.
Additional preferences in Project Settings allow enabling autosave frequency, adjusting lighting defaults, and modifying how object duplication or replacement behaves. These controls are especially useful for adapting the design experience to specific workflows such as landscape design, interior layout, or schematic drafting. Advanced users can use this panel to toggle experimental or beta features when enabled.
By centralizing environmental and behavioral preferences, Project Settings give users control over how the app behaves at a foundational level, reducing friction and improving compatibility with specific design tasks or presentation goals.
