Saving

The Save function ensures that project progress is preserved either automatically or through manual intervention. App includes an autosave mechanism that periodically commits the project state to the cloud or local storage. A visual indicator near the Save button confirms whether recent changes are saved or pending.

Manual save is recommended before switching devices, closing the browser, or exporting the project. Clicking Save immediately records the current state, including geometry, materials, textures, view preferences, and imported assets. Projects are versioned, and saved copies can later be restored, duplicated, or shared.

Saving also unlocks other features such as exporting the design in various formats (e.g., .glb, .jpg, .pdf), collaborating with others, or syncing with external project management systems. In collaborative workflows, only one user may have edit access at a time, with changes visible to viewers upon next sync.

Ensuring that a project is actively saved prevents data loss due to network interruptions or browser crashes. Projects not saved manually may be recoverable using local cache, but recovery is not guaranteed. Therefore, using the Save function regularly is critical for data integrity and workflow continuity, especially in commercial or client-facing projects.
