View Options

The View Options menu provides control over the visual representation of the project in both 2D and 3D modes. Accessible via the Eye icon, this panel allows toggling the visibility of various elements such as measurements, grid lines, room labels, shadows, roofs, terrain, and object categories. These toggles assist in decluttering the canvas or focusing on specific layers or stages of design.

For example, during initial layout, it may be helpful to hide furniture and show only structural components. During final presentations or client reviews, one might enable realistic shadows, hide guides, and showcase full material textures. View Options operate per user session and can be adjusted freely without affecting the underlying model. This ensures that each participant or stakeholder can tailor the viewing experience without introducing conflicts in the shared project.

In walkthrough or 3D preview mode, View Options control atmospheric elements such as sky dome, sun angle, and environmental lighting, which are essential for visualization and rendering. In 2D, toggles are useful for precision work, especially when aligning to grids or overlaid floor plans. Whether used for drafting, editing, or presentation, the View Options menu plays a vital role in managing how the project is interpreted on screen.
